I have a new kitty (two altogether now) and her name is Angel. She's what you call a tortoise-shell color. She's extremely lovable and about ten months old. My other cat (JJ) is slowly accepting her and I think they'll be great playmates. I'm hoping Angel keeps JJ busy so that JJ will quit destroying my home (knocking lamps over for the fun of it). I just bought a digital SLR camera. Yes, yes, I'm doing the copycat thing--my dad bought a Nikon and I held it, snapped a couple of photos, and I was hooked! I bought a Sony Alpha 10.2 megapixel. Now I'm hauling it around with me (to and from work, to the store, etc) waiting for photo ops. Spring is just starting arrive (robins have been back for a couple of weeks), so I'm hoping to find something to snap a photo of--saw a couple of bald eagles from the office window yesterday. Snake River is only about 1/4 mile from our building.

Missing my daughter because she reformatted her hard drive without having her driver CD to reload her drivers! She is now in the process of waiting for Dell to send her a drivers CD. She has no internet, therefore she must scream! (A play on a story title by Harlan Ellison).

Anyway, stay tuned for photos as I find a chance to get out and enjoy the spring. By the way, we're supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow today. Welcome to springtime in the Rocky Mountains!

1) How old do you wish you were?: I'm okay with 42, believe it or not. Kind of nice not raising a kid anymore, but I sometimes miss those early Max years. If you want photos, just send me a note.

2) Where were you when 9/11 happened?: Driving to work--heard it on the radio.

3) What do you do when vending machines steal your money?: Leave a sticky note telling the owner he owes me money (that's how it works where I'm employed).

4) Do you consider yourself kind? Kind and gullible--except where my daughter is concerned. I suspect everyone of nastyness where she is concerned.

5) If you HAD to get a tattoo, where would it be?: I guess I HAD to get one...it's a yellow rose on my lower back. No, not that low.

6) If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be? Spanish would be most helpful, but I would love to speak Italian.

7) Do you know your neighbours?: A few--met most of them at the condo association meeting.

8) What do you consider a holiday?: Saturdays and Sundays.

9) Do you follow your horoscope?: Not in the last 20 years.

10) Would you move for the person you loved?: Did--for Max's dad (Air Force) and across state for the last one.

11) Are you touchy feely?: Extremely with the right people. So is my daughter, if she thinks about it.

12) Do you believe that opposites attract? Way too much.

13) Dream job?: Having my own business--a coffee shop with an attached used book store.

14) Favorite channel(S)?: Sci-Fi channel and NBC on Monday nights (Heroes).

15) Favorite place to go on weekends?: To the lakes and mountains.

16) Showers or Baths?: both

17) Do you paint your nails?: Once in a great while I paint the fingernails, but I'm kind of rough on them. I get pedicures during the warm season though.

18) Do you trust people easily?: Yes

19) What are your phobias?: Spiders (bad experience) and being overly tickled

20) Do you want kids?: After the last one I had? Heck no!!

21) Do you keep a handwritten journal?: A long time ago. I keep thinking I need to start another one, but handwriting doesn't keep up with my thoughts.

22) Where would you rather be right now?: Hugging my daughter.

23) Heavy or light sleeper?: Most of the time, kind of light. Depends on how late I went to bed.

24) Are you paranoid?: Not especially--only when Max is driving my vehicle. Kind of nervous about letting her drive my new full-size truck after all the small Japanese cars she's been driving.

25) Are you impatient?: Depends on how many times I've already done it--like lecturing my daughter.

26) Who can you relate to?: Believe it or not, my daughter. She doesn't realize that most of what she is going through, I've already been there and done that--just different circumstances. She's not as oddball as she thinks she is.

27) How do you feel about interracial couples?: Love is love.

28) Have you been burned by love?: I'm 42--I've had skin grafts after some of the things I've been through.

29) What's your main ring tone on your cell?: For family, I have Braveheart's "Gift of a Thistle", for others I have "Kerosene" by Miranda Lambert.

30) What were you doing after midnight last night?: Work night--means bed.

31) What did the last text on your mobile phone say? I don't get many text messages--they cost extra and my dad can't figure out how to send them from his phone.

32) Whose bed did you sleep in last night?: Mine...sigh...

33) What color shirt are you wearing?: I think the color is called "chamois" and it's a turtleneck. Have my robe over the top of it because it's freaking cold here today.

35) Name three things you have on you at all times~? Clothes, pocket knife, cell phone

36) What color are your bed sheets?: purple, green, grey

37) How much cash do you have on you right now?: Nada--that's what debit cards are for.

38) What is your favorite part of the chicken?: Wing and skin

39) What's your favorite town/city?: Anything in Italy

40) I can't wait till: I see my Navy child on December 13th...

41) Who got you to join myspace?: Not on myspace--joined DA so I could keep tabs on...my daughter!

42) What did you have for dinner last night?: Leftover stuffing and gravy, fresh green peppers, celery and radishes. Trying to eat healthier except for the stuffing and gravy part.

43) How tall are you barefoot?: 5'2" and that's where my daughter gets the shortness from.

44) Have you ever smoked heroin?: No--only know of one that I think did. Idaho was kind of sheltered when I was growing up.

45) Do you own a gun?: Um, how many? Rifles and handguns. Hey! I live in Idaho! It's almost mandatory!

46) What do you prefer to drink in the morning?: Coffee until I become fully human again.

47) What is your favourite weapon to lure in the opposite sex?: My brain and my computer skills. Sometimes I bring out the shotgun.

48) Do you have A.D.D.?: Wishful thinking.

49) What time did you wake up today?: 7:30 a.m.

50) Current worry?: Getting through holidays in one piece.

51) Current hate?: Listening to my cubicle mates at work who seem to forget that they are talking/giggling in a public place.

52) Favorite place to be? Lakes, rivers and mountains

53) Where would U like to travel?: Well, I'd like to visit Japan while my Navy girl is there, but most of all I'd like to go back to Italy. I keep buying my lottery tickets!

54) Where do you think you'll be in 10 yrs?: A lot older and wondering where the time has gone.

55) What songs do you sing in the shower?: No singing, just lots of thinking about all the stuff I didn't get done the day before.

56) What was the last thing that made you laugh? Reading the responses of Max and UltraRaptor. Twins????? I think I'd have known if I popped two of you out. I'm going to call you Soul Twins.

57) Worst injury you've ever had?: Broken little toe--winged it on Navy girl's high chair.

58)Does someone have a crush on you?: I'm hoping!

59) What's your favorite candy?: Just about anything with caramel.
